If your children's legs can't reach the Bamboo Boards yet, these footrests are a good idea. Or if the Bamboo Boards are covered with a pannier bag and the little ones still want to put their feet up. But the footrests aren't just practical while riding; they also make it easier for your kids to get on and off.
Feet up for the person in front
If you're traveling with two passengers, only one of them can put their feet on the footrests - the one in front. Attaching a second set of footrests isn't possible. Instead, you can either attach Bamboo Boards to the side of the rear wheel, or your second passenger can sit in the child seat anyway. Or they can let their feet dangle. Since the rear wheel is equipped with spoke protectors, this isn't a problem.
Climbing aid makes life easier
The footrest is not only comfortable during the ride, but also before. With an additional step, it's much easier for your children to climb onto the luggage rack independently. This saves you from having to lift them up yourself. Your back will thank you!
