Where do you deliver to?

Our delivery area covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. However, you are welcome to inquire about deliveries to other countries.

How long does delivery take?

That depends. Generally, delivery times are specified on the detail page of each respective item. When purchasing multiple items at the same time, the longest delivery time applies to the entire order. We are happy to provide you with individual information regarding delivery times or the status of your order.

Shipping of cargo bikes

Cargo bikes are usually shipped via a freight forwarding company. However, for orders within a radius of less than 150 kilometers around Heidelberg, we often deliver them ourselves. You will receive your cargo bike fully assembled. Any accessories ordered will also be fitted by us prior to shipping. Please note that the freight forwarder is only required to deliver "to the curb" and is not obliged to take back the pallet or packaging. When shipping via a freight forwarder, you will receive a tracking number as soon as we have registered the shipment for pickup. If we deliver the cargo bike ourselves, we will contact you in advance by phone to arrange an appointment.

For deliveries to German addresses:
Our freight forwarder will inform you of the planned delivery date via email and SMS. Delivery can take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Unfortunately, the time cannot be narrowed down more precisely. However, you can also select a different delivery day in the email.

For deliveries to international addresses: The freight forwarder will contact you by phone to agree on a delivery date.

How much does delivery cost?

Delivery to Germany: Free!
Delivery to German islands: €149
Delivery to Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg: €200
Delivery to Switzerland: €400

First Ordering bikes

We have many cargo bikes already in stock, while some we have to order from the manufacturer first. The cargo bikes usually reach us in various-sized boxes and in different stages of assembly.

Second Assembly

In our cargo bike workshop, your bike is fully assembled by professionals. This also includes all the accessories you have ordered. After assembly, a final inspection is carried out to double-check that everything is functioning correctly and that the cargo bike is truly ready to ride.

Third Shipping

We usually ship cargo bikes via a freight forwarding company. This means that the assembled cargo bike is secured onto a pallet and then fully wrapped. In the interest of sustainability, we primarily use leftover cardboard from the boxes in which we received the bikes. The entire package is further held together with plastic film. This ensures the cargo bike is well-protected, nothing falls out, and it stands firm and secure.

Important Information:

Delivery to the curb

The delivering freight forwarder is not obliged to bring the delivered pallet onto your property. According to standard freight shipping terms, delivery is made to the curb. It is therefore all the more important that you are there to receive it so that you can unpack it and remove it from the street as soon as possible.

Transport Damage

Your shipment is insured for the duration of the delivery. In order for this insurance to cover potential damage, please check the shipment immediately upon receipt for transport damage. If there is transport damage, proceed as follows:

Have the damage acknowledged by the delivery driver, either on a form or via the scanner. Be sure to keep a signed copy!
Note down the name of the driver and the vehicle's license plate number.
Take photos of the damage before unpacking the shipment!

Obvious damage must be reported to us within 24 hours. Concealed damage must be reported to us within 5 days.

Accessories are shipped via DHL or DPD (depending on dimensions). As soon as we have packed your shipment, you will receive an email with a tracking link. Depending on the provider, you can manage the drop-off location and delivery time as usual.
