The big advantage of the Yuba Kombi E5 is its compact dimensions: At 1.90 meters long and 60 centimeters wide, it's only slightly larger than a regular e-bike. This means you won't have to get used to anything new—the riding experience remains the same as your old bike. 

Despite its compact size, you can easily ride with three people on the Yuba Kombi E5. And you'll barely notice it, because the electric motor provides the extra power you need for an additional passenger.

Who's coming along?

The Yuba Kombi E5 can accommodate up to three people: the driver in the front and two passengers in the back. For smaller passengers, Yepp Nexxt Maxi child seats are available, and two of them can be installed. They are suitable for children aged nine months to six years, so you can use them from their first steps all the way through to school.

Once your kids are older, you can also upgrade to seat cushions. These are installed on the Bamboo Deck, a bamboo board that's screwed onto the luggage rack. Two "Small Soft Spot" seat cushions provide comfort. "Monkey Bars" are a great solution for providing support for children: aluminum railings around the luggage rack. Alternatively, you can also attach up to three Crest rings to the luggage rack (rear, middle, and front) or a mini handlebar to the seat post. A BackRest is also available for the Crest. For footrests, you should install a pair of Bamboo Boards – or a footrest.
YOU NEED

Both solutions can also be combined: a small child in the rear child seat and a larger child in front on the "Small Soft Spot" seat cushion. The child should then ideally hold on to the mini handlebars at the front. Or you can opt for the monkey bars, which are also compatible with the child seat.

For all these things that need to be quickly accessible, you can equip the Yuba Kombi E5 with the Stuff Rack at the front. This way, you always have everything you need right in front of you and can quickly access what you need with just one hand.
Rear wheel safely packed
Seat cushions are ideal for transporting children four years and older, as well as adults, as they offer more freedom of movement. To ensure that feet don't get caught in the spokes, the wheels are well protected by wheel skirts and frame tubes. Even during brisk movement, everything remains safe and secure.
Stable Kickstand
To ensure smooth loading and unloading, your Yuba Kombi is equipped with a large, solid steel two-legged stand. This allows your kids to climb onto and off the rack independently and safely while you load the stuff rack.
