At 1.90 meters long, the Kombi E6 may seem like a dwarf among all the large cargo bikes. It's also much shorter than the really long long tails, barely bigger than your regular bicycle or e-bike. However, its child-carrying capacity is doubled: Instead of one, it easily accommodates two children. Or even a monumental shopping basket, a dog basket, or whatever suits your everyday needs.

The Kombi E6 combines the best of both worlds: compact like a regular bicycle or e-bike, but as powerful as a cargo bike.

Who's coming along?

The Yuba Kombi E6 can accommodate up to three people: the driver in the front and two passengers in the back. For smaller passengers, Yepp 2 Maxi child seats are available, two of which can be installed. They are suitable for children aged nine months to six years, so you can use them from their first steps all the way through to school.

Once your kids are older, you can also upgrade to seat cushions. These are installed on the Bamboo Deck, a bamboo board that's screwed onto the luggage rack. Two "Small Soft Spot" seat cushions provide comfort. "Monkey Bars" are a great solution for providing support for children: aluminum railings around the luggage rack. Alternatively, you can also attach up to three Crest rings to the luggage rack (rear, middle, and front) or a mini handlebar to the seat post. A BackRest is also available for the Crest. For footrests, you should install a pair of Bamboo Boards – or a footrest.

YOU NEED

Both solutions can also be combined: a small child in the rear child seat and a larger child in front on the "Small Soft Spot" seat cushion. The child should then ideally hold on to the mini handlebars at the front. Or you can opt for the monkey bars, which are also compatible with the child seat.

The Yuba Kombi E6 is narrower and shorter than almost any other e-cargo bike. This makes it perfect for city traffic: Anywhere you can get through with your old bike, you can get through with your Yuba Kombi E6.

Your Yuba Kombi E6 can handle both small and steep inclines while remaining stable. However, it's not suitable for mountain tours.

Thanks to its efficient engine, your Yuba Kombi E6 will take you quite far. Depending on the amount of cargo and passengers you're carrying, however, the luggage rack might be tight.

Price is right.

Performance is right.

There's hardly an e-cargo bike that offers so much for such a price. Sure, there are cheaper models these days. Unlike its budget competitors, Yuba doesn't rely on a no-name product for its motor, but rather on Shimano, a well-known brand manufacturer that's also used in many other brands.

Added to that is a sturdy steel frame designed for loads of up to 200 kg. Hardly any other long-tail bike can offer that, and it says a lot about the quality. And a large and well-thought-out range of add-ons makes the E6 usable for the long term.

Everything at hand

When traveling with children, you need to keep about 300 things close at hand at all times—pacifiers, purses, teddy bears. For these and anything else that needs to be quickly taken in and out, you can equip the Yuba Kombi E6 with the Stuff Rack at the front. The rider always has it in front of them, allowing them to grab what they need most in one easy step.

Rear Wheel safely packed

Children ages four and up, as well as adults, are best transported on padded seats. Of course, this allows for much more freedom of movement. To ensure that even a foot can't get caught in the spokes, the wheels are well-protected by the wheel skirts and frame tubes. Nothing will happen, no matter how much you fidget!

Stable Kickstand

To ensure smooth loading and unloading, your Yuba Kombi is equipped with a large, solid steel two-legged stand. This allows your kids to climb onto and off the rack independently and safely while you load the stuff rack.

Chilly Buddy Bike

A trip to the beach, a barbecue hut at the edge of the forest, or simply a quick trip across town? What many people used to do with a Vespa is now possible with the Yuba Kombi E6 – one pedals, one rides, and both enjoy the trip!
