The Yuba Kombi opens the door to the wonderful world of cargo bikes at an incredibly good price. Its size, handling, and price are barely different from a regular bike. But the Kombi can do much more: With the approximately 60-centimeter-long seat on the luggage rack, you can easily transport two children without a trailer. Up until now, you've always transported your child safely in the child seat on the back of your bike and enjoyed it. But now you have a second child. Two child seats won't fit on your bike—so does it really need the bulky and slow bike trailer? No, because there's a better solution: the Yuba Kombi!

You can easily attach two child seats to the back of the Yuba Kombi. And even if your children aren't quite as small anymore, the seat cushions offer enough space to continue carrying them comfortably. And if you absolutely want to attach a trailer as well, that's still open to you.

Who's coming along?

The Yuba Kombi fits up to three people: the driver in the front and two passengers in the back. For smaller passengers, Yepp child seats are available, and two of them can be installed. They are suitable for children aged nine months to six years, so you can use them from their first steps all the way through to school.

Once your kids are older, you can also upgrade to seat cushions. These are installed on the Bamboo Deck, a bamboo board that's screwed onto the luggage rack. Two "Small Soft Spot" seat cushions provide comfort. "Monkey Bars" are a great solution for providing support for children: aluminum railings around the luggage rack. Alternatively, you can also attach up to three Crest rings to the luggage rack (rear, middle, and front) or a mini handlebar to the seat post. A BackRest is also available for the Crest. For footrests, you should install a pair of Bamboo Boards – or a footrest.

Both solutions can also be combined: a small child in the rear child seat and a larger child in front on the "Small Soft Spot" seat cushion. The child should then ideally hold on to the mini handlebars at the front. Or you can opt for the monkey bars, which are also compatible with the child seat.

The Yuba Kombi opens up almost unlimited possibilities for your everyday life – and at a truly affordable price. Without a motor, it's comparable in price to a bicycle trailer, but offers a much more pleasant riding experience and retains the familiar bicycle feeling. You remain as agile, narrow, and flexible as you're used to. 

The robust construction of the Kombi combines stability with excellent maneuverability, even when heavily loaded. With an electric motor, riding is even easier and faster.

The Yuba Kombi isn't much bigger than a regular bike. In city traffic, you'll hardly notice the difference.

At 23 kilograms, the Yuba Kombi is lighter than many cargo bikes, but remains heavier than most city bikes – especially if you have several passengers on board.

Of course, the Yuba Kombi is also suitable for touring. However, the range depends primarily on your fitness level and the load on the luggage rack, as well as how many people you're carrying.

At 1.90 meters long, the Yuba Kombi is barely longer than a regular bicycle. It's just long enough to accommodate two children on the approximately 60-centimeter-wide rear seat without noticeably compromising the riding experience.

This compact length has the advantage that you can easily place it in any bike rack, carry it to the basement, or stand it upright. It even fits easily on a car rack. Or on the subway. So you don't have to go without your Yuba Kombi on vacation!
Everything at hand
Traveling with children often means having a lot of things close at hand – like pacifiers, purses, or maps. For all these items that need to be quickly accessible, you can equip the Yuba Kombi with the Bread Basket at the front. This is located directly in front of the rider, so they have everything they need at their fingertips with just a single pull.
Get a motor
Even if you choose the Yuba Kombi version without a motor, you don't have to miss out on support. We offer retrofit kits under the EBIKE-SOLUTIONS brand, including our proven Climber conversion kit.
Stable Kickstand
To ensure stable loading and unloading, your Yuba Kombi is equipped with a sturdy two-legged stand made of solid steel. This ensures that your children can climb onto and off the luggage rack safely and independently while you simultaneously load the bread basket.
Only with Wheel Skirts
As your children get older, they'll often want to switch from the child seat to the padded seat for more freedom of movement. To prevent feet from getting caught in the spokes, the wheels are well protected by wheel skirts and frame tubes. Everything remains secure even during vigorous movement.
