The Mundo EP8 is longer than many other long-tail bikes, and it's precisely those extra 21 centimeters that open up countless possibilities: Whether you want to ride to the lake with your child and two friends or cycle home from kindergarten with your weekly shopping and two children – the Mundo EP8 makes it possible. 

It's also one of the few long-tail bikes that can comfortably accommodate three children or an adult with one or even two children. So you definitely no longer need a family car for family outings.

Who's coming along?

The Yuba Mundo EP8's luggage rack accommodates two Yepp 2 Maxi child seats. These are ideal for smaller passengers. The child seats are suitable for children up to six years old, so they can be used for a long time. However, your little ones might want to switch to the padded seat sooner...
YOU NEED

The Mundo EP8 offers almost 80 centimeters of seating space on the luggage rack. This is enough to comfortably accommodate three kindergarten-age children, but it's only when they reach elementary school that the back seat starts to feel a bit cramped. For this, you'll need two "Medium Soft Spot" seat cushions and the "Monkey Bars," the support rods around the luggage rack. Both are installed on the "Bamboo Deck"—a bamboo board that's screwed onto the luggage rack. You should also attach a set of "Bamboo Boards" as a footrest.
YOU NEED

Child seats and medium seat cushions can also be combined: With a child seat in the back, another passenger can definitely fit on the seat cushion, but with two, you'll need a lot of space. It really depends on how big your children are – and how well they know each other. It's best to try it out! With two children in front of the child seat, you definitely need the monkey bars; otherwise, a mini handlebar or the grab ring will do. However, with the grab ring, it's too tight for the medium seat cushion, so you'll need a "Small Soft Spot" instead. However, an adult can also ride in the back with a child seat. So, nothing stands in the way of a trip with mom, dad, and a child, no matter how old your little one is!

Children grow quickly, and everything they use seems to constantly be getting too small—from pants and shirts to bikes. But with the Mundo EP8, you don't have to worry about that. As soon as your child fits into the Yepp child seat, they'll always have enough room on the Mundo: first in the child seat, later on the seat cushions. And that's true all the way into adulthood. But it's not just the space: The Mundo is built to easily carry adult passengers too. 

Of course, your child will eventually want to travel longer distances on their own bike. But there are still plenty of times when it's nice to ride on the back with mom or dad. And later? As a teenager, it's certainly great fun to zoom around on a cargo bike – whether with friends or your first girlfriend on the back.

The Mundo EP8 is a true powerhouse and can carry up to 250 kilograms—a considerable load. To ensure you don't break a sweat despite this heavy load, it's equipped with the powerful EP8 motor, which is typically used in e-mountain bikes. With a torque of 85 Nm, the EP8 motor gives you the power you need to move quickly and tackle climbs effortlessly, even with a full load.
Everything at hand
When you're out and about with children, you constantly need a lot of things—pacifiers, purses, maps, and much more. For all these things that need to be quickly accessible, you can equip your Yuba Mundo EP8 with the Bread Basket on the front. This practical basket is positioned directly in front of you, so you can always have what you need with just a simple grab. Alternatively, there's also a loading platform or a bag for the front of the handlebars.
Safer Leg protection
Children ages four and up, as well as adults, are best transported on the padded seats, as they offer more freedom of movement. To ensure that feet don't get caught in the spokes, the wheels are well protected by wheel skirts and frame tubes. Even with vigorous back-and-forth movement, everything remains secure and nothing happens.
Great Add-On World
The Mundo's 80-centimeter-long luggage rack is versatile, not just for kids. You could, for example, convert it into a spacious luggage basket and attach additional panniers. Alternatively, you can also attach a dog basket for your four-legged companion. Various options are also available for the front: In addition to the practical bread basket, you can also mount a loading platform, either with or without a removable bag. It's all tailored to your needs!
Secure Kickstand
To ensure stable, rock-free loading and unloading of your Yuba Mundo EP8, it's equipped with a sturdy two-legged stand made of solid steel. This allows your children to climb onto and off the luggage rack safely and independently while you load the bread basket.
Gigantic Bags
Even if you're carrying passengers on your Mundo's rear rack, there's still plenty of room for your other belongings. This is where the generous Go-Getter bags come in, offering an incredible 85 liters of storage space each. Thanks to the additional footrest, your passenger can comfortably rest her feet in front of the bags.
Towing Tray – Bike pulls Bike
If your child is excited to ride their own bike but gets tired halfway through the ride, there's a simple solution: With the Towing Tray, you can easily attach bikes from 12 to 29 inches to the Mundo. This way, you can let your exhausted child ride on the luggage rack as usual while you finish the ride.
