The Mundo Lux is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to travel daily on two wheels but doesn't need a motorized model for fitness or cost reasons. Of course, the lack of a motor makes a significant difference: in the price, but also in the strain on your legs.

Despite the lack of a motor, the Mundo Lux offers the same basic features as the motorized version, especially in terms of load capacity. The only limitation is your own muscle power. If you're concerned about that, you can take a look at the Mundo's electrically assisted sibling.

Who's coming along?

Two child seats fit on the Yuba Mundo's luggage rack. These are especially suitable for smaller passengers. The child seats are suitable for children up to six years old, so they can be used for a long time. However, your little ones may want to switch to the padded seat sooner...
YOU NEED

The Mundo has a seating area of ​​almost 80 centimeters on the luggage rack. This is enough to comfortably accommodate three kindergarten-age children, but it's only at elementary school that the back starts to get a bit cramped. For this, you'll need two "Medium Soft Spot" seat cushions and the "Monkey Bars," the support rods around the luggage rack. Both are installed on the "Bamboo Deck"—a bamboo board that's screwed onto the luggage rack. You should also attach a set of "Bamboo Boards" for the footrest.

Child seats and medium seat cushions can also be combined: With a child seat in the back, another passenger can definitely fit on the seat cushion, but with two, you'll need a lot of space. It really depends on how big your children are – and how well they know each other. It's best to try it out! With two children in front of the child seat, you definitely need the monkey bars; otherwise, a mini handlebar or the grab ring will do. However, with the grab ring, it's too tight for the medium seat cushion, so you'll need a "Small Soft Spot" instead. However, an adult can also ride in the back with a child seat. So, nothing stands in the way of a trip with mom, dad, and a child, no matter how old your little one is!

With a maximum load capacity of 250 kilograms and an 80-centimeter-long luggage rack, the Mundo Lux offers virtually unlimited possibilities for all everyday challenges and adventures: from weekly shopping to transporting children to daycare or school to a romantic trip to a lake or a solo tour through nature with a tent and stove – everything is possible.

Of course, this requires a certain level of fitness. But no one is forcing you to use the maximum load capacity. For trips to the lake or the allotment garden, you can get by with significantly less.

At 26 kilograms, the Mundo Lux is no lightweight. While you can easily handle inclines without additional cargo, the amount of sweat you put in increases with every additional kilogram you carry.

Everything at hand
When you're out and about with children, you always need a lot of things close at hand—pacifiers, purses, maps, and more. For all these items that need to be quickly accessible, you can equip your Yuba Mundo Lux with the Bread Basket. This practical basket is positioned directly in front of you, so you can have everything you need at your fingertips with just a simple pull.
Safe feet thanks to Wheel Skirts
Children ages four and up, as well as adults, are best transported on the padded seats, as they offer significantly more freedom of movement. To ensure that feet don't get caught in the spokes, the wheels are well protected by wheel skirts and frame tubes. Even with lively passengers, everything remains secure.
Towing Tray: Bike pulls Bike
If your child is excited to ride their own bike but is exhausted halfway through the ride, there's a simple solution: With the Towing Tray, you can easily attach bikes from 12 to 29 inches. This way, your overly enthusiastic child can continue to sit on the rack while you comfortably complete the ride.

To ensure stable, rock-free loading and unloading of your Yuba Mundo Lux, it's equipped with a sturdy two-legged stand made of solid steel. This allows your children to climb onto and off the luggage rack safely and independently, while you easily load the bread basket.
